Who is the first couple pics?

Its our female vieja heterospilus and a suspected male. We had the female for a few yrs and this past year tried to find her a bfriend. Started with 11 and down to that possible male

Oh ok nice! I don't always recognize the different larger ca sa cichlids right away, I recognized them as ca/sa cichlids just no idea what type. Not really all that in to them in the past. Except for Oscars, Severums, Geos, and Angels oh yeah and of coarse Discus. lol

Yeah its especially tough with viejas....i have no more patience for cichlids the pearsei and hets are with us for a while so theres an attachment but no mo !

can we get a shout out for how great the Faranah Lap is looking. Catching up to the Koloton

I know u guys must be sick of seeing her but man i love this fish. Shes also going through a bit of a growth spurt. Still not as big as ghost congi but when i got her she was a couple inches smaller than the ornate...looks to have passed him.

Cats are doing good. Juruense reminds me of a poly not active but doesnt hide just like sitting in the flow from the internal filter. The vulture is a bundle of nerves never sits still unless under the dw.

What size is your Ornate? How long did it take to reach that size?

Haha more like a pre-schooler on crack.

I'll try and get a pic of the koloton and f lap together but yup f lap is catching up. Koloton really slowed down and is eating much less.

I would say hes 15ish maybe more. Hes an odd duck... would rather eat pellets over chopped fish and will often miss out on 1 or two feedings. Plus ive never reallu did the power feeding thing....slow and steady wins imo.

Hard to measure because he likes to perch on the returns.
