Looking Good! Wat are you using for skin? 1/2" Birch?

Exactly sanded one side. The topcoat will be minwax poly and stain, it's all in one can old maple.

The inside of the plywood is now stained. It seemed much more easy to do this first rather than wait untill it was on the stand. I am really hopeing to get the plywood on and the doors cut and stained today.

This pic the plywood is inside out and just to show the color of the stain.

Thanks

Today the plywood was attached and the doors were cut. Tomorrow I will be sanding and staining the outside of the stand, the doors,2 more plywood braces that will go on the back side and all the trim.
Also today I removed the top center braces and will make and paint new ones. I still need to slide LOL my 135 in the stand. the doors and trim will be finished and installed after the tank is set and sump up and running

Pic is the plywood on the stand, door openings cut and waiting to be stained tomorrow.

My tank is the opposite in dimensions, same size. I wish I were in cali too, but I had to order a brand new one. Am using the same polyshades on my tank stand as well.

It was impossible to do any staining today the cottonwood fuzz was blowing every where and I didn't want to chance the final finish on the doors & trim. I only put on the first coat on the inside of the doors before I gave up. I did manage to get the tank safely back onto the stand.
