Might want to add a net over the pond so the arowana doesn’t spook and jump! Those Midas look awesome
Thanks! Planning on adding a net soon. The aro usually avoids all the other fish, never seens it jump eversince I put it in the pond.
The little midas has grown bold recently, and hangs out more openly. Love how they all beg for food!
Looks good!
Thanks!

I don't want to be a profit of doom, but that aro/RTC combo would stress me.

Also, what's the bird in the background?
That RTC only eats frozen foods and shows no interest in live prey. It uses its whiskers to sense cold food, such as the raw shrimp I was feeding it in the video. I've kept smaller fish with it before, and it hasn’t shown any predatory behavior. The Arowana is doubling in size since I added it two months ago, and the RTC hasn’t attempted to attack it once. During the night, I keep a small white light on to make sure all the fish can see the RTC and avoid surprises. Outside of feeding times, it mostly stays hidden.

That isn’t just one bird, but a group of Australian budgies—about 12 of them in a large cage, which is also in my room. They’re lively little guys and always chirping away!

Love me some budgies - come on, share a pic or 3! Not to be confused with budgie smugglers.
