And 200 tetra is kinda expensive for me but i would add 70 tetras to my tank if i could

Havent updated this thread in what feels like a long while...

Anyway, most plants have now settled in quite nicely, while stuff like the C.Albida is truly taking its sweet time...

How has the shrimp colony been faring? I've heard breeding them can be difficult, but I bet they that you will end up with heaps in there.

^ the population has finally started rising to an extent its noticeable... seems that i'm pretty much constantly seeing berried females and lots of shrimp of varying sizes...

So as long as nothing goes off balance, fingers crossed it should slowly explode...

I do however agree it really does help having an established tank with covered filters and very stable parameters to get a solid colony going just coz they can be a little fragile till they settle...
