Just a few quick shots of the shrimp... just chucked the food in so maybe in 10min hopefully can get a better group shot...

Decided the tank needed a really good trim... So took out a good portion of plants, trimmed the bottoms off and replanted parts of them...

Here are the before and after shots... water still needs to clear up a bit more though...

Man niiiice! Those red plants, what ever you call them are beautiful! Awesome planted tank. That's what I visualize my tank to look like, but that didn't turn anywhere close to what I wanted. Haha well done Homer!

On the far left and right the red plant is called "Alternanthera reineckii Mini" although not sure if they really are that mini?

As for the middle section, i cant seem to find where i marked down the name of the plant...

Honestly though, was just a lot of trial and error over the years and slowly fine tuning and working out what i could grow well and what i couldnt... then from there it was just a matter of going through all my notes and planning the scape you see here...

Really nice! I miss my planted tank. Took too much work. Wish I had the time again... so rewarding. Love the high grade CRS.

^ Thanks for the compliment!!! Yeah this tank is not as bad as my previous 50G with the HC carpet... at least with this tank maybe once every 2 months it will need a big trim, but otherwise isnt too bad growth rate wise...
