Would be interesting to watch a time lapse video of the growth.
I've often thought about doing it, but not ao sure the wife wants a camera infront of the tank for a week or more
Another week passed and the colors of the plants that were trimmed back quite a bit have started to color up again, almost quicker than when i was using my T5-HO lighting system...
Sorry about the color, but i've got my lights now set at a cooler color temp to hopefully bring out the plants colors rather than height growth...

Can you just throw 300 Otto's in there and get a pet cat for when they jump out.
Lol... i couldnt begin to imagine having 300 otos in there... almost sure they'd probably starve since there actually isnt much algae considering the amount of light and ferts i been using lately...
I can't either but I imagine it's quite a spectacle. Algae wafers are cheap and then you will never have to worry about algae ever. I just wanna see this tank overstocked with something small... I don't know why.

The shrimp just don't fill the space well. Especially when the plants are grown out I want to wonder if fish are suffocating somewhere among the leaves... I think your proximity to the JDM tanks of lore might be affecting me.
Lol, needed that laugh, but yeah, no fish secrectly hiding in this tank, tangled in the plants, just very slowly building up the shrimp colony again which when dealing with CRS seems to take ages...
