wow sweet tank is it gonna be planted at all?
No I would not put any plants in the main tank. I only have about 10" of opening at the top so I wouldn't be able to maintain any plants in there. plus my filter method will not cater for plants, unless I put plants on the drift wood or walls. I will have plants in my sump, though. My sump will be a reefugium I'll be putting mangrove plants in there and maybe some floating plants while the mangroves haven't grown bigger yet. They're really slow growers, which is actually good because that would mean less maintenance, not much leaves and all.I have about 30 mangroves growing now.

Thanks Dude!!

That water is dark because of the peatmoss and almond/ketapa leaves that I put in there. NOt to mention it is water from my sump and other fish tank. I got the Katepa leaves a year ago when I was planning to breed my discus but decided against it since it is more economical to buy than to raise them from frys. And my stock is not really that high quality to justify breeding.

Sunday night I filled it a little more with water from sump tank

its a few more inches higher now since I have been dumping all my water changes to this tank. No top braces put in yet to really test its "holding". So far still doing great!!!

Wow, big project. 2 things worry me a little though. Well, worry me a lot actually! You keep mentioning COPPER studs in the construction. Are these completely sealed from the tank water? It's just copper plus fish equals dead fish as far as I know. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The other thing that worries me is the front of the tank. How well supported/braced is it? From your pics it looks like it will blow out once full water pressure is applied to it. Again, hope I'm wrong, but had to ask!

And how are you going to access the tank with so little space above it..??

Congrats on all your hard work nonetheless - that's a lot of time, hard work and dedication right there.

And sorry about your Aro - that must have just doubled your costs as well as pissing you off....

Hope it all works out for you, I'll keep tuning in to see how you're doing.

Looking Awesome :headbang2

maybe a pic with temp light over top.
just too see better;)
Thanks. I doubt that we can see anything in there even with lights. That almond leaves turned the water really dark and its getting darker every day Cants see anything now inside even if you stare at it. :D
