hellafide setup indeed man.

so how many people are gonna get that thing on the stand?

wish I had room to do it in.
Theres going to be 6 of us lifting it to the stand. We're gonna do it one side at a time only though. Lift one side, slide in a table, lift the other side to the stand and slide it in. I estimate the weight to be around 750 lbs. Glass is about 250 lbs and I used 3 bags of cement for the background. I am hoping to be able to put it up onthe stand before friday so that I can work on hooking it up on the long weekend next week.

Did the epoxy coating on the background last weekend. I found that 1.5 gal of epoxy resin is actually enough to do 3 coatings. Did that and sprinkled sand on the last coating to make it not so "sparkling". Could have saved time, money and EFFORT if I just did it all with epoxy resin!!! Probably 2 gallons (4 to 5 coatings)will be more than enough to do it strong and nice.

Then I noticed that the sand made the back ground very sharp. Which is very very bad for the aros' scales. When I decided on doing a 3d background on this tank I knew that I will be sacrificing the scales of my aros, I am just hoping that it would'nt be so bad. I scraped off/ sanded the sand to make it less sharper.
