What kinds of synos would u recommend? I've had a eupterus and he was super aggressive... i like clown loaches but yeah the growth would be an issue in the future :(
clown loaches will be fine

Mmk, just exploring all options, had a geophagus brasiliensis catch my eye @ my LFS, as well as a baby GT lol

Well, even though I wish it could've worked, I took the pike back today :(

On the bright side the firemouth is much happier ;)

Just having thoughts about what could work still, sadly my LFS doesn't have any clown loaches and said as of late they haven't been able to get any in, so they're out of the picture :(

This one caught my eye - he was the only really decent looking one in the tank and is about .5"

A bit of a stretch in terms of aggression I know, just caught my eye

seriously? lol I'd love to do a GT ideally, would this guy have good colors when he grows up? I know that's hard to tell at this size but I'm just curious

At 4" he will be a lot more colorful

Awesome :) I'll probably pick him (?) up on monday since I'll be out of town this weekend.

What is the typical growth rate for these guys? I mean I've heard it's pretty slow in comparison to my oscar, but I'm just trying to get as much info as possible so I can do this right :)
