im sorry to here that bro, but congrats on the new one!!! it sounds like its growing like a monster.(but thats why were here right?)

This skull is from a 6" specimen i unfortunately lost.

i dont mean to derail the thread but how did you do that?

just out of curiosity why is it mentioned in this thread about disecting and preserving the bichir?? The name of this thread is A DARK DAY..if i had a dark day and a loss i would not want to hear all the grisly details of what to do to its body..am i missing something here..did he ask for this info..

Liz is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. I can only speak for myself, but please accept my apology for making light with my little laugh at razman's humor.
This was far too solemn of an issue for Burbotman for my reaction.

But I can also say that I myself would be interested in preserving something that meant that much to me, but I do have the constitution for such things...
