Sucks!, I had a power outage the entire day two days ago with all my arowanas finding it difficult to breathe, thats when I decided to go to my LFS and buy an Rechargeable battery operated aeriator (sp?). Cost a bit but hell, Its worth! You should really consider getting one if you're getting back to fish keeping

I guess I got lucky. I just bought 2 for under 40.00. BTW, I just went through a 3 day outage with 0 loss. Battery powered air pumps, wrapped/covered tanks with blankets and didn't feed.
