my power just turned back on after three hour outage, I got lucky and didnt loose any fish. I wish you could of been as lucky

drunk driver hit a transformer by my house one time. i used my power converter and ran an extension cord from my car to my house. was a pain and had to keep my car running all day. sorry for your loss. that sucks!!!!
So sorry for your losses....
This is what I did back in the summer of 2003 (when the Eastern US / Canada grid went down) when we were without power for a couple of days. Sucks getting up every couple of hours and plugging in / out all the different filters so all the bb didn't die, but it did work.

sorry for your loss, there are some kind of battery powered air pump but I don't know they have that in US or not !

You know they eat fish, like Arowanas...... Sorry, sense of humor different, hope you cheer up! I also feel your pain, lost 150 juvenile Mozambique, my 480 gallon indoor pond and my two 75 gallons are feeling lonely (on a side note I was raising them for view and for eating, and as feeders). Also lost Breeding colony for 14 this month so I gotta restock somehow. Best wishes and reminder raising fish is fun, and also good revenue for the table.
