Thanks for the advise. I don't think there will be any problems with this coating system, each and every coat was fully sanded and cleaned before the next coat was applied. The supplier also recommended these 2 materials as compatable. I'll still be keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed when filling her up :ROFL:

I have a 6" pleco, let's hope he doesn't like epoxy :ROFL:

Well that's good - there are large variations between different epoxies, so you are likely OK. The sanding helps a lot as well. The big trouble comes if someone does things the other way around and attempts to topcoat epoxy with a polyester gelcoat.

nice build....i will take on a similar project soon. 10'x5'x3' tank only one big window in mine though. good job!
