use piano hinges rather than the ones you are using or the flaps will warp very quickly. I made that mistake. Alternatively make the flaps from black plastic sheet like the stuff they using on ready made aquarium set ups

Dude, can I offer a compliment on your swimbait? I have fished largemouth for going on 30 years, and I really like the realism you've incorporated. Again Great Great job on the tank, there's just something about the way you shaped it that makes it so eye pleasing. And great job on the swimbait - the baits I make look no where near as good as yours.
I wonder if your bass swimbait would stand up to pike or muskie attack. I for one would love to find out, on the end of a swimbait stick and a heavy duty baitcaster.

Thanks for the Kudos on the tank, but I can't take credit for the lure, I guess I worded my other reply a little wrong. I know a guy in the States that hand-makes these lures and I bought 3 from him. They weren't cheapRedearsunfish;3357466; said:
