WOW! The finished product turned out sweet and the bass carving just tops it off perfectly. Look forward to seeing it with life inside but I'll have to wait until you get back.
Thanks!
I have JUST arrived in Africa a few hours ago, and I am already counting the days til I can get home and get my bass in there....20 days to go.

Yeah, it sucks that I had to come away when the tank is ready, but without the job I wouldn't of been able to start and complete this project.

If it falls through the (very thick reinforced concrete) floor I will cry
The tank has been full for a few days with no sounds of movement. The tank was also stratigically placed between 2 supporting concrete walls.

Why did you use the fiber glass Isent that toxic?
And how hard was it to do by your self and if you had time to
do this tank full time what do you think you could get it done in day?
Why didnt you use the liquid rubber stuff i have seen on other posts no smell.
And if any one know if there are any kinds of rubber to stay away from.

That is a very nice tank.......

I live in Korea, and to have the liquid rubber shipped to Korea would of been a huge PITA as well as very expensive. I looked for other rubber style coatings locally in Korea but was unable to find any.

The fiberglass is only toxic in it's "wet" state, once it's cured it is safe.

I had help from a friend when I did the fiber glassing as it was my first time working with this stuff, but now I know how to do it, it would be an easy(ish) job to do by myself.
