Congrats on such a nice tank - you did a fantastic job. Can't wait to see more pics!
Thanks bud, more photos will be coming in around 11 days from now.

That tank looks freak'n awesome!

I wish I had the money and talent to do something like that.
Thank you, I'm sure you have the talent, you just need to believe in yourself. The money part is always a problem

I swear I'm going to check the ends of these threads first before i invest an hour and a half reading them from start to finish!

Beautiful build. For someone who is not a carpenter, there's some pretty complex cuts on this thing.

Not to be paranoid, but you might want to eyeball where the outside wall meets the floor every now and then to make sure this 3500ish lbs of water and wood doesn't cause any structural issues. Concrete construction or not.
Thanks, that's good advise in the floor/wall watching idea. I did use a pool ball method during filling. I place a pool ball (the lucky # 8 ball actually :D ) on my even wooden floor in front of the tank. Before and after filling the ball never moved :naughty:

Mile High in Northern AZ, baby!~
High-rise Pre-stressed concrete construction would hold a Room full of tanks easily...
Just think of all the floors above you, add yours and then realize that is setting on the 6 floors below you...more or less, and is engineered to sway in case of earthquake...you'll NEVER have a problem...;):D

The tank is right in the corner of the room, so there are 2 supporting walls sharing the weight....it'll be fine.

awesome amazing build bro ......... whats the total cost so far please ....if you dont mind sharing ....
Thanks.
After a quick calculation, it works out around the US$1500 mark. That doesn't include all the tools I had to buy or any shipping costs for the items I had to get shipped to Korea from the States.
I will post a more detailed break down of costs once I get it all worked out.
