Anything Caquetaia!

No sign of babies, maybe it was just wishful thinking. It is quite difficult to see into their area, it's so well hidden. I'll update in a couple of days, or sooner if something happens.

These are very cool fish.
Here`s a pic og my breeding pair wich I unfortunately lost last spring.

one thing is for sure, the Caquetaia genus is a very colorful one indeed, i own a 3and a half inch umbee, he's getting bigger andhe eats like a machine, he's currently my favorite

I am new to the forum but been fishman for 30 years. I lived west coast now east. Love C/A and S/A Cichlids. Currently have Vieja Argentea,Carpintas, and Geo-Syraminces. Hope spelling is correct. Also have 6 Plecos different L-numbers, 3 tiger botias, Polypteras Palmas, and Clown and Queen Loaches. My favorite fish of all is the male Umbie. I had one which grew in a community tank and traded him in after 7 fish were killed in 10 days time. I still love him just dont have a seperate tank for one.:)

my big girl i got from jeff a week and a half ago. she's starting to become more aggressive but nothing too bad. her colors are starting to come back, she was pretty rough after the shipping.
i'll get some new pics soon, these were from when she came in.
