What did you do to keep it, Cause Im not having very much luck at keeping it high so I have just been Misting it 3 times a day but with it so hot in there I cant keep it in the tank for very long.

I have a Reptile room that is temp and humidity controlled, I have it easy now because the room is a consistent 80 percent humid

Good looking monitor.
Only thing I have a problem with is his current enclosure...
You should deffinatly get him out of the fish tank fast, and into a made enclosure plywood melamine etc. and one without a screen top.
As you probably dont see problems now, but will so in the future when he starts growing.
And also get him off that bark substrate and throw him on some natural soil/dirt with a little sand mixture.

Also just curious how much and how many times a week do you feed him, also with what?

All great tips and all are being worked on. The tank he is in now was just a holding tank till the 6x3x3 melamine enclosure that will have a good depth of sand/dirt mixture for he to do all the digging he loves to do. It will have no screen on it other then the vent that way no crickets are getting out on me. It will have a Plexiglas sliding doors. I was going to wait till after I had the new enclosure built to pick up an Argus but when I found this cross and his color along with the patterns his parents have I could miss out on it. But yes I know he need out asap and a enclosure like what I'm built with the sand/ Dirk mixture will hold humidity much better then a screen top fish tank.
Just for a heads up what problems would you be worried about just so I know if anything comes up I know.
Right now he is getting fed crickets or Dubais almost daily also now I'm feeding him cut up adult mice twice a week. I was doing pinkies before but think he will get more from adult mice. Also gets either a hard boiled or scrambled eggs once a week. Everything other then the mice gets dusted with culcium. I was doing the pinkies with calcium too.
what else would you suggest to add to his diet?

What are some others feeding their monitors?

Nice looking monitor and how are the cars doing?

Thanks bud, I'm having a blast with him!
Cars are doing good, slammed the G8 with some BCRacing coilovers and the GTO is getting some new parts since some one wanted to crash into it and not leave a note to say sorry! :swear:

Awww, hes got a great face :] Congratulations on a killer find.
Thank you! He is even showing more colors now that I got the humidity fixed. Ill post more pics soon so keep an eye out
