Masone, that sounds alright. 4-5" isn't too bad a size at all. What do you need to do to make them go orange? Or is that a male/female thing?

5" is a good size to grow out, last ones I had were pushing 1ft. Orange ones are a colour morph, also get full blue morph. I dont know where the orange morph comes from(PNG or SE Asia I think) but have a source for full blues. Will let you know when I'm ready to move them on or if I get any blue morph in.

This is off-topic but most Australians will post around here... now on to my question:

Is anyone else around Brisbane area having evaporation problems?

i need to refill my sump on my marine tank on average every 2 days.

I always notice more evaporation when it's cold. My theory has always been the heated water in a cold (dry air) environment will evaporate faster than when it's hot and the heater isn't working very much.

Yeah it's really pissing me off, just wanna have a full tank and it goes down by an inch every 3 days.

Yer evap is affecting me 2, mostly on by Bn breeder tank.

I just got a new fish, a 25cmish Sooty grunter, i put him with my jar to see what would happen and they get along fine, i moved the whole tank around so its all new Territory, i got a good pic of him 2, have a looksy!
