Forgot to post about that, its pretty amazing, I always thought they were a northern fish, hmmmm.

Also the fish looks a little skinny or my guy is obese lol, even my 10cm Spangled gudgeon is fatter than that.

Yes does look a bit skinny and further south than known range .
They are amphidromous maybe the larvae came a long way south ?
