Well today I went up the Daintree for a site inspection, finished that and went and had a poke around some wetlands. Lots of big tarpon and some interesting colourforms of M. maccullochi rainbows (bluefins!). On the way back stopped off at a creek for lunch, threw some bread in the water for the schools of junglies and damn the place was jumping with marginata (hard job I know). Big suckers too, easy 30cm, some of the rupestris would have been 40+. The marginata popultaion seems to be really picking up, more and more common in the creeks up here.

You would need a big pond, 30 000 plus with a fence or net to keep the Jar in it.
