Aussie natives Stocking.

Power bill$ $842 & $1764
Doing some pond spring cleaning on the weekend, found a plague of Blue Acaras in one, got a heap for free last year and used them for feeders. Bastards survided and bred in an un heated pond through winter ?

Hey Guys another Aussie here only have 2 natives now a murray cod and a mangrove jack also had a silver perch and barred grunter. had to get rid of the perch as it was chasing eveything in the tank and the grunter was being beaten up by the Jack so was rehomed

i spoke to a bloke that went to a barra cage farm in the hintchinbrook before the cyclone smashed it up.
he said they had been throwing the white barras in a pen, they had gold and also some that looked like cows. i guess most of em escaped.

lots of barra around the 58cm mark when i was there a month back. which i guess came from the cages but maybe not. but they looked skinny in the belly area but they had just gone through winter.. one guy told me he had seen some of the cow looking colour morphs from the pens sitting under cover of logs, banks etc in the months after the cyclone.

By cow looking ones I assume you're talking 'bout piebalds ;) I'd imagine most of the oddball morphs would have got picked off quickly by crocs and the like, bit opf a wastge but what can you do. Not my cup of tea anyway.

iv got a 40cm mangrove jack atm trying to get hold of a bullrout and jungle pearch i did hav a little barra and 2 archer's but thay started picking on my peacock bass so thay got moved on.

Got heaps of bullrout if ya want. I can't stand 'em. Been giving them away lately.
What cichla ya got? I've got five so called monos but we'll see when they colour up.lol

not sure what type he is mate hes only about 15cm hasnt got much colour yet, bullrout like anything r hard 2 get in bundaberg without drivin a few hours
