And anything too big for them to eat might damage their delicate gill filaments. These guys are basically for a species setup only (as is a good rule of thumb with most herps). It's also a good idea to do only one per tank (or divided section is the tank is big enough for more than one. I think though, if you do a group in a good sized tank with lots of cover it could work. They're amazing animals, and certainly a conversation starter for the uninitiated I just hope they find some way to prevent total extinction of the wild population.
