Hmmm,
nobody wants to know how I got 1.25" PVC on an 1.50" pump intake? :grinno:
You won't have to kill us if you tell us will you?

I love this thing. I'm gonna try one for my 3000gal. koi pond. Gonna try and tweek it so it looks like a step-down waterfall or something along those lines. My pump in my skimmer is overkill for my skimmer box and waterfall filter so I may be able to use that pump to feed the trickle filter too. Great job.

Thanks Bro...
I figure when I get the rest of the back yard cleared off and some 200 cinder blocks laid,(This comming Spring) I'll have my filtration already sorted out. I'll have an area on the back, long side to put the bakki on with a settling chamber. I can put a skimmer on that side as well. Maybe a small bamboo fence to hide it all.

how'd ya do it, how'd ya do ittttt! Lol
You take the PVC pipe and cut 4 slots about the same length as the outlet nipple on the pump...
Get your hose clamp ready.
Put the slotted end in boiling water to soften.
(about 2-3 minutes in a rolling boil)
When soft, slide it on the inlet nipple of the pump and quickly tighten down the hose clamp, and run it under cold water to set hard again...
Simple Simon! :p
