I had a slight oversight...
I forgot to build a prefilter for the pump...
I'll get to that 1st thing in the AM...I have already had to "de-leaf" the pump. I knew I should have prunned back the plum tree further.

i just have one suggestion/concern...the way the pump is situated. it seems as though the "purified" water is dumping right on top of the pump, only to be recycled thru the filter again.

wouldnt it be more effecient to place the pump on the opposite end of the pond/pool??

There is a 550 gph mech filter that moves the water around alot...
It's not like the same water will be cycling through the filter.

"DE-LEAF'ing" sux big time...
so what do you do...look online? sure,
only to find Matala pre-filters are priced for the Philanthropist.
So like any good DIY'r does we tweak one out from spare "fish stuff"...

What would you do with this stuff?
