Great looking filter, but couldn't you have done this a couple a weeks ago before I put my last filter together? Love the pond. Which size did you get, 8 or 10 foot?
I had that same concern but the other 550gph mech filter circulates the water really good...jcardona1;2298455; said:man that came out great, and its colorful too gives us the total cost!!!
$ 33.00 scrubbies
$130.00 pump
$ 25.00 PVC
$ 20.00trays
$208.00
i just have one suggestion/concern...the way the pump is situated. it seems as though the "purified" water is dumping right on top of the pump, only to be recycled thru the filter again.
wouldnt it be more efficient to place the pump on the opposite end of the pond/pool??

yeah, it should...the pump is about a quarter inch off the bottom and the legs are about 2 feet apart squared.jcardona1;2298551; said:cool, that will help. so how stable is this thing? will it hold up on a windy day?

When I put the 1.25" risers on it and can bolt on the trays, I'll have that option...RedDevilDon2005;2298815; said:it looks great, ever thought about seperating the trays a bit to get more of a waterfall effect?
