probably do a liner like yours with a bottom drain and S/C. then I'll do the Bakki shower and that NitrAe scrubber if it's worth it...
If I could do it all again I would have ignored the wife's complaints and gone 3 foot down and 2 foot above ground and done it in blocks as well but it's a bit late for all that
As for the cats, I don't know if you have any but the natural reaction is to jump, miss and the claw all the way down
