So far so good...I got a some pond netting if there is a real problem...On this pool the sides are soft and it's under cut. If they jump onto the pool they are going in the water...Probably gonna forget about fishing at that point...:ROFL::ROFL:

Yeah not too deep and above ground...Cinder block rebar and I'll fill the voids.
probably do a liner like yours with a bottom drain and S/C. then I'll do the Bakki shower and that NitrAe scrubber if it's worth it...
To do it the 'proper' koi way you need a depth between 3 and 6 foot, 'proper' being the specialist 'koi keeper' way:nilly:.

If I could do it all again I would have ignored the wife's complaints and gone 3 foot down and 2 foot above ground and done it in blocks as well but it's a bit late for all that;)

As for the cats, I don't know if you have any but the natural reaction is to jump, miss and the claw all the way down;)

3 foot with a bottom drain and s/c will be more than fine, I really have to go to bed now it's 01:00;)

It is chewing right along
I have had to clean off the Mech filter once so far,
(my fault I got over zealous with the prawns)...
I still have the seed row of media on top but I been removing one piece every 2 days...Should be self sufficient in a couple more weeks...
