The pump is plumbed right into the frame...the weight of the pump gives the frame bottom weight and stability...KABB44423;2295446; said:keep us updated you made it look so easy to make how did u hook up the pump to it could u show picks please????
I measured out and marked 1" spaces. Then I drew a center line for reference to keep the slots uniform.danzx23;2295510; said:in your spray bar are those drilled holes or cut slots? and do you have ur pump pushing water up both sides of your frame? i love your filter i bet it does wonders
Thanks Brother...I'm tuning it this AM...I might be able to eek out a few more GPH by bypassing all the 90's down low in the frame and plumb right into the "crosses" on the uprights...Pharaoh;2296936; said:Very cool looking setup Zen. Great job on regulating the flow. Looks like it will handle some real filtration.
You're welcome...jcardona1;2297417; said:any ideas on other DIY options for the shower trays? did you see anything else out there that could be used? trying to see what could be used for bigger trays and holding more media.
this would be my ultimate pond filtration
- 5,000~7,000 gph flow rate
- pressurized bead filter for mechanical
- UV light for clarification
- fed into massive bakki shower for bio filtration
- down into waterfall
thanks for the inspiration
