BAKKI style pond filter

Zen. I am curious if you are still not losing some flow with the smaller pipe that is running up the sides. Have you thought about replacing that too?

I take that back, should run fine because you have to 3/4" pipes. 1 1/2" is about as big as you can go.

If I can find some 1/4"-20 stainless cap head bolts .50" long, I'm going to remove all the Crosses except the 2 on the bottom.
I'm going to replace them with 1 1/4" crosses and go straight 1 1/4" verts and spray bar. I'll have to reduce the horizontals down to 3/4" for the legs....
I got these to bolt the trays at the desired level...

 awesome, this thing is gonna have some MASSIVE surface area :)

man that came out great, and its colorful too :D gives us the total cost!!!

i just have one suggestion/concern...the way the pump is situated. it seems as though the "purified" water is dumping right on top of the pump, only to be recycled thru the filter again.

wouldnt it be more effecient to place the pump on the opposite end of the pond/pool??
