Seemingly patternless ansorgii
This bichir has the biggest appetite out of all the polypterus in my tank though, swims to the surface if I place my hand there in order to handfeed!

Sold my 14” endli today to reduce more of my bioload, this will probably be my final stocking for now

Today marks the anniversary of my 4th year of bichir keeping. Got my very first bichir in a 3 gallon aquarium last time, an ornate bichir who is no longer with me. seller at the shop told me, “ just don’t overfeed, it will be able to live in there forever.”

since then its amazing to see how far I have come, to own the monsters I have now, and so much more experience in bichir keeping. I can definitely say I’m not “inexperienced” anymore. Cheers everyone!
