Very sorry for your loss.Sad day for me. I guess it was too long out of the water. It was probably out for around 6-7 hours if I’m not mistaken. Tough loss, was my favourite bichir which I had. Around 21-22” in length, could have been more since some of tail missing from fin rot. The only congicus I had as well, and it would be hard to find another one for a low price since it is becoming rarer in sg. If this continues I may have to switch the fish I keep while I’m in army as I am unable to care for them as much anymore. If I gain another causality I may dive back into the stingray hobby again.

That poly is huge.Visited JZX new shop in Singapore. Biggest bichir I have seen irl. Giselas from lake “tanganyika”, 91cm (36”) in length. Absolute unit of a fish, costs 3.8kSGD. Pictures don’t do this justice! Two of my fists don’t even make up the size of this head.

Did JZX boss decide to sell it? Few weeks ago, I heard it was not for sale. Hopefully Shaik ends up buying it otherwise going to ThailandVisited JZX new shop in Singapore. It’s quite skinny right now too. Imagine it after few months of proper feeding. That poly is huge.
I just double checked with Shaik. He said 3.8k is the 81 cm one and the 91 cm is not for sale (as I originally heard).Visited JZX new shop in Singapore. Biggest bichir I have seen irl. That gar isn't missing no meals either. Both nice and healthy.
