I want show you the waller. Its some kind of catfish, that is native here in germany. It grows to gigantic size. It mostly eats insects, fish but sometimes also ducks and in one case in Hamburg at a lake some of that fish did attack and eat a dog. They are kept in some public aquariums here for display and very often in ponds. They are also very delicious and often fished.

So here some pics:

that's awesome! remind me not to swim where you live.

They don´t attack humans. They have very small teeth, and can´t swallow you in one piece so they leave you alone. But there are at last some old legends here that they went after small children.

^ Im gonna dump my son in the lake

Wait... I don't even have a son.

sounds like a case for river monsters.

yes they are awesome. Problem is, they are extremly shy and only come out a night. They may not be very colorful or beautiful, but there is not much that looks more elegant than such a fish swimming in free water.

Awesome Fact, keep thinking that Arapaima is the biggest fresh water fish! But wait is that proven??
