This is so cool!!! By far my favorite sev, and the one I find the most attractive ... yes even more than rotties. Excellent job so far, it does seem to be on par thus far ... though I am a bit curious that only part of the clutch was ready.

The male is doing something interesting - whenever the female wanders off a little bit he makes her go back to do the egg thing....

Didn't have a lot of time to check on them this morning but it seemed like only a patch of eggs were picked up. Maybe the male didn't fertilize all of them?
Still thinking/hoping the female is holding, but I don't know...she swam up to the food I threw in this morning, opened her mouth slightly, then swam away...didn't eat...
