GREAT Thread and project. Keep the updates & pics coming. I am sure that many, as do I, feel greatful for your efforts in relaying the process to us. Hope to see a tank full of water soon.

Don't rush the man. :screwy: I'm sure wizzin has a lot of other things to do besides the tank.

A great project is done in a slow and steady pace to get it done right the first time. Why rush it and get sloppy? :screwy:

Hey wizzin thats going to be awesome! Are you going to insulate between the exsisting basement wall and the tank.
no. kinda late for that :D I thought about it, but that exterior wall is about 15' under ground. Should maintain a constant 62 degrees. about anyway.

Well, I can help you in that department..... I'm a carpenter who loves to put tanks in walls :naughty:
LOL... shameless plug.

Wow! want to come to my house and do one here?! lol looks good.
Contact The_Fish_Guy a few posts up :naughty:

Seriously. I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off to work on the tank. I've got 8 cores to fill and finish the top frame. Then it's covering the backgrounds with concrete. They're foamed etc and ready to cover.

I promise I'll post pics tomorrow since I'll be home all day.

I wish I would have taken the time to make backgrounds for my tank. Here's my excuse..... Winter is slow for me so that's when I built my tank.... problem is all it takes is one phone call and it'll be months before I get back to a "diy" project.... Oh yeah, the sun was in my eyes, and my shoes were untied, and my dog ate my blueprints.....
