I actually haven't done that yet. I wanted to fill that core today actually, but I've got to go to work again. I worked all day yesterday (job work, not tank work). It sucks, but at least i get overtime pay!! Should cover the rest of the items I have to purchase.

I was going to fill the concrete block core where the overflow pipe is with concrete while the pvc is in place. Then just smear permaflex and LRB all around the joint. I tested permaflex and lrb on raw pvc, and it does NOT come off. I think those pool skimmer boxes are pvc? Shouldn't have a problem there.
Hi Wizzin,

did you get that core filled where the overflow is?

exactly! Right now I'm working on installing the source code for a website my business partner and I had made. We started this company 7 months ago, and we're finally about to launch the beta version of the site. Most of my spare time has been taken up by this, and doing freelance work to fund the other goodies I need for the tank.
Why dont we start a click on ads for wizzin campaign to help out, whats the site lets earn you come cash...

no, not at all. Honestly, there really hasn't been much to photograph and share. Really, filling the cores with concrete has taken a lot of time! 1 bag of concrete fills one core of the block wall, and I can only mix 2 bags at a time in my wheelbarrow. Tomorrow night I'm setting the top frame in place. I built the backgrounds but I'm not installing them until after the test fill. I'm planning on getting the pump(s) next weekend, and if all goes well, I may test fill it next weekend. It's technically watertight at the moment. So really, test fill then plumb the filters, install the lights, build the "tent" cover and decor. That's what's left. The only thing I could share is the background pieces, but really it's just a bunch of blue foam :)

I'd say at this point, I won't post any more pics here until I test fill it. Maybe next weekend.
