Yes, I did finally get a good seal. Basically what they told me was a load of BS I re-sealed the glass with primer, let it set for 3 days, lightly sanded the primer, applied a coat of permaflex without covering the entire strip of primer, coverd the permaflex with LRB again without completely covering the primer, and finally covered it all with a final coat of permaflex.bmxer4ever;896068; said:Hi Wizzin....any luck gettin the glass to bond? You must be gettin fed up with it now! Hate it when you invest a lot of time and money like this, only to be let down by something you were recommended to use for the job. Are you still on speaking terms with the Sanitred people..?!

LOL! That's actually what I have! It's an old fuji finepix 2.0 megapixel. SUCKS!!! I'm trying to convince the wifey, who is a photographer to let me buy "her" a Canon Rebel XT. I'm watching a few on ebay right now. We'll see. It's actually not the camera so much as it is my time availability.Epic Fabrications;898053; said:I am tempted to fedex my old 2.0 megapixel to you, because this is ridiculous!

yeah, the sanitred products don't bond to glass AT ALL!!! They'll give you primer, but getting the LRB to bond to the primer is even tricky. I'd really like to see someone do a big tank with pond armor. I'm curious how the pond armor to glass connection works. Will silicone stick to the pond armor etc.? I had thought that the LRB material, since they compare it to silicone would stick to glass similarly, but it definitely does NOT! Oh well, we live and learn.TheFishGuy;899005; said:Wizzin, I'm not completely satisfied with the sanitred. I rarely take the lids off my 800 but a few days ago I was introducing a 16" clown knife and saw that everything that was applied to the glass was flapping in the wind so to speak.
If I ever build another tank I will not be using sanitred. The drylok worked just fine, it was my mistake that caused my tank to leak.... Not the drylok....
