Building a 1500 Gallon plywood & glass tank

is your avatar going in there? that would be sweet!!! i could see a mangrove being a big highlight in that tank.
make sure to vent the bottom really well to prevent any mold, rot, and structure decay! even just a splash from the filter can really linger and do damage if left unventilated.
 
I Just noticed that most people don't use treated wood against the concrete. in all the construction I have seen they always say to never put untreated wood against concrete but almost all of the DIY tanks have not done this. I'm not knocking anyones method just posting an osbervation. I know you don't want treated wood in the tank as its toxic to the fish but using it against concrete is a great way to prevent rotting from moisture drawn up from it and rotting over time

Although your observation is justified... in terms of Construction, your failing to realize that the concrete board is being treated and sealed with the Pond Armour so there is no concern for having the treated wood under it, Since there will be no moisture in the concrete board to begin with (or shouldn't be anyway if all done properly) So the extra cost of pressure treated wood just doesn't make sense to most people
 
Lol, no actually the immediate stock list will be my pack of tinfoil barbs ranging from fully grown (11" or so) to 3". There will be 5 Flag tails in there, my Tig, 12" common pleco, 4 large clown loaches, and some other assorted fish.

Then I will be adding an ID shark and the rest will play by ear.
 
i love how fast this setup is going. those are gonna be some happy fish as soon as this gets done. keep up the good work.
