Do you plan to remove one of the styros to inspect behind it?

More importantly how are you feeling?

We filled one boat with air and Richard got in checked the wood under the plywood and the I beams are solid there is a vapour barrier between the styro and the I beams. He also inspected the fluorescent wet location 4 foot 2 bulb fixtures (12 in tank) and the 6 high pressure sodium lights.

Still feeling bad the wrist fracture is not healing..........

I really do believe a 100g is a big tank. I built the big tanks for my big fish but still keep all sizes of tanks from 2g up. I love all fish so keep fish from celestial pearl danios and betta's to my Wallago and Arapaima. I also never let the value of a fish determine which I keep. I have many of the different arowanas species but my favourite is the least expensive silver aro Osteoglossum bicirrhosum.

When I was 2 years old I got my first goldfish and kept them in a bowl. When I was 7, I got 2 old fish tanks that were made by my uncle Colin when he was a kid (iron, putty and glass). They were odd shaped 5 and 10 gallon tanks. The betta shown is in a modern all glass 10g.

A 100 gallon tank was huge to me then and I still have that respect for it.

this makes diy tank builds look like childs play lol.... i want one... lol

Space restrictions limit many people from building mega monsters. But the DIY tanks are fantastic for many people. I built a 120 and a 480 plywood tank with glass fronts and with the newer materials you can build better ones than I did for very few bucks. Check Ted Anything fish and the FishGuy for great money saving ideas. Both are good carpenters and willing to share their knowledge.
