I only have 3 in the 52k (2 males and 1 female) now, but this really gives them a lot of swimming space. It is also neat to see them breeding and laying eggs. But I have never seen any babies survive yet.
There are so many cichlids it will be hard.

At the end of last week we started some maintenance in the tank.

We took the access floor cover off the room above.

I still think anyone with a 100 gallon tank or bigger has a big tank.

Nice what do you plan to do with it?

My son in law will inspect the 2" styro on the ceiling. We might re nail them all with 3 1/2" stainless steel nails holding the 1" green plastic washers. I used regular 3" nails with 1" green plastic washers the 15 years ago and they are badly rusted.
