mmmmmm too bad.............I am sure the MFK members are going to now ask you to get a biggggggger tank for Otto. They will advise you from their experience 1 mile (american I presume) is just not a deep enough tank and 20 billion gallons when they are the puny kind is Ok for the first few months but then you are going to have to get serious..........

Oh well you will just have to sell your house again and buy another bigger one. Just a thought but there are some smaller States in the USA, maybe you could just annex one of them......Nobody would notice they are too buy posting on MFK.

Sadly, the next owner of your house will just have to be happy putting poecilia reticulata in that moat you dug out by hand and shovel.

I know you are a monstermammalkeeper because I've visited your inner sanctum via my shamanic exploration of geometrical and biophysical studies of your Balaenoptera musculius .

But do you actually keep monster fish also?

Hmmmm are you asking me or Amber?

You can see what happened to Queensland Australia the last time Amber did a partial water change.

I am very conservative and have a kind of fast drip system just about 2,000 pag (puny american gallons) per day at present.

I use a drip system on it and several other tanks. I have a cold water pipes connected to the tanks with a valve on it. By controlling the valve I can allow the water to drip into the tank. I have about 90 gallons an hour going into the big tank and it flows out an overflow located about 40 to 45 feet away from the area the water is coming in to.
That water flows to one of my large outdoor ponds.

The 810 gallon tank also has permanent drip system on it but there the overflow goes to 4 smaller 90 gallon tanks each drilled with overflows. This way the water is changed in 5 tanks at once all day long.

The 15,000 also has a drip system at times. The overflow there is located also about 40 to 45 away from the fresh water source. The overflow on that tank actually goes into the 15,000 on its way to the big outside pond which holds about 250,000 gallons (100 feet by 60 and varying depths to 20 feet at one end).
