Is that Imperial gallons or the puny american gallons I use?
mmmmmm too bad.............I am sure the MFK members are going to now ask you to get a biggggggger tank for Otto. They will advise you from their experience 1 mile (american I presume) is just not a deep enough tank and 20 billion gallons when they are the puny kind is Ok for the first few months but then you are going to have to get serious..........Ambervikings91;4927569; said:puny american

You can see what happened to Queensland Australia the last time Amber did a partial water change.
I am very conservative and have a kind of fast drip system just about 2,000 pag (puny american gallons) per day at present.
I use a drip system on it and several other tanks. I have a cold water pipes connected to the tanks with a valve on it. By controlling the valve I can allow the water to drip into the tank. I have about 90 gallons an hour going into the big tank and it flows out an overflow located about 40 to 45 feet away from the area the water is coming in to.BaldoBoy;4927734; said:i was asking you.
