Building My 50,000 Gallon Monster Mega Tank

wow man what i would give to have a tank that size ,i think i would literally get in and swim with the fishes =-]

TOO COOL FOR WORDS INSPIRED BY SEA WORLD LOL :headbang2

Thanks and welcome to MFK

As a child reading TFH and Herbert Axelrod they always said it was best to house your fish in as large a tank as possible. My desire to house my large fish led to me building this tank.

Welcome to MFK

Some of friends and relatives have actually swam with them just as you would.

Thanks very much my daughter put it together.

Here is another picture of the same tank.

Notice how difficult it is to focus. The rasboro to the right of the discus is out of focus because it is about 2 feet closer to the front glass than the discus. The tank is 4 1/2 feet wide so the discus are about 3 1/2 feet from the front.

arapaimag,

What is your water change routine like on that 810G?

What kind of filtration system do you have on it?

I see you have a few Puntius denisonii in there. How has your experience been with them?

Thank you as always.
