can any stingray go in a 125?

a hysterix is still not a teacup stingray.

teacup refers to something staying VERY small, aka the size of a teacup. it's also a label placed on small caught stingrays as a general description, NOT an actual designator. motoros have been labeled teacups as well, and they are far from it.

a hysterix will still end up quite large.

in essence, the term teacup should be thrown out the window.

tea cups do exist. its a more common type ray, cheaper, smaller

i have 2 retics, which are commonly called teacups, but they sure as hell aren't. an average disc size of 12-14 inches, and then add on their long 12-14inch tail sure does not equal a teacup does it.

even a hysterix will average a disc size of 12 inches, and prolly another 8-10 inches of tail.

I followed the link and found a forum where the 3rd post said "Teacup" is a generic name for small non descript rays which are probably Hystrx or Retics.....if you are going to post a link to back up your argument then make sure it does not prove you wrong.:screwy:

Teacup is purely slang for a baby ray which typically is wild caught and not known what it is, due to the cheap nature they are more often than not Retics, and no they do not stay small.

Y bother saying that teacup rays exist.. how about saying a teacup Redtail catfish or a mekong teacup stingray for a change..??:screwy:
