Just to add . I never said 'raging leak'
I was refering to any small amount of water that may collect at the bottom of the window . But as you know what your doing I will let you carry on

Do I have to go back and find the posts where you say the water you are adding is freezing .
You know what . Build your pond . I am not interested anymore .
Every time i try and help someone on here it gets followed up by sarcastic comments recently .

:chillpill: if it comes across that i'm having a go then it's not supposed to matey. Yes the unheated water does feeling freezing to stand in and is unpleasant. But it's the same as running into the sea in january, it's the same as the air temperature, just feels worse cause it's water against skin with no insulative clothing.

Working on a big pond like this or even a small tank repair can be quite stressful if it's not something you do everyday. Most tanks/ponds i've tinkered with since joining mfk have leaked in some way or other, and while 'raging leak' may sound over the top it's probably the best description for even the littlest leak when it happens to you.

It wasn't meant to sound like i was getting at you but from the experiences i've had over the last year and a half since getting back into fish properly i've learnt not to overly rush anything if i can help it as that's when things start going wrong. I think we're all guilty here of being sat at the computer and getting annoyed at somebody's lack of progress or from watching what they're doing think we know how to tell them to do it and do it better. I know i'm guilty of it. But starting something like this yourself puts it into a whole different perspective and when it's your money going into it you have to do what you feel comfortable with. The construction itself may be relatively cheap on a diy, but if it goes wrong and you flood your house then it can be a financial nighmare. Yes i do read and try to understand what people are suggesting and money no object some of the ideas are brilliant but just not practical for me. I've made suggestions on MFK to folks in the past, some listen, some don't, some get snappy. It's just the way of the world. And i'll fully admit the ideas i suggested to them i have not utilised myself on this build because i would not feel confident or comfortable doing them.

Take the sarcasm from people on the chin mate, i do. I said before and i say again it's not ment to look like i'm having a go at you. Lots of issues can rise up with a project like this, i try to answer every post, question and comment and i'm sorry if the response does not always meet with approval. This is a long stressful undertaking, if you ever decide to try one like this for yourself you may better understand. Until then, stay positive and try and :chillpill::thumbsup:

:banhim: lol a perfectly good thread derailed by a bad temper, shame on u jason dude lol. Chill m8, iv seen this build up close and personal, imo, its flawless but satan does have doupts as would i. Preperation is the key to building such a thing, i know this as my head dne in building mine, wel finding the time to do so. Maybe jason, if u chilled a bit then there wouldnt b any snide comments made towards u?

Just my 2 penies, im not picking a fight.
U carry on satan m8 we are all waiting to see them fish in, theres no hurry, the last thing we want to see is a mass of water and dancing monsters on ur carpet  we all now that aint gna happen now though. As for the heaters, try get it upto temp and turn em all down 1 night or off even, just to see if that temp will stay put ;)

Take ya time satan dude, this is a cool and entertainingnthread lol
