Painting. Nuff Said. Now drying in the sun.

Also, one rather battered RTC. Got him seperated so the other fish can't nip at him like they were, but still having to share pond water as i don't have a suitable sized seperate tank to manage the volume of water he'd need set up. He is still swimming and active but not moving much and refused food yesterday where he'd normally eat from my hand. Any ideas on how i can help him as i'm not the best with fish recovery and getting the equivalent of melafix, etc, for 1000gal just isn't practical. The box is holding roughly 30ltr's for him to swim him and he's getting roughly 600ltr per hour of good water pumped in straight from the pond.

Damn pictures aren't uploading, will try them again later.

Well attaching pics still isn't working, But he the RTC is still alive in his box looking badly beaten. Doesn't look sick, just battered.

The Lid frame is all blue and in place now. Just the back corner that i can't reach to fix into place and the diagonal beam that'll support the filter to drop into place but that can't happen until i've got the filter out from underneath it first. Hopefully won't be too long before i can get to work on that. Think i'll need to get some more pipe to run the filter outlets back down to the pond so i don't have a large noisy waterfall going on.

Thanks mate. Just start building one, don't tell the missus, just get far enough along that she can't say no and there's no going back:naughty: may have to get my pool setup in the garden now it's getting warmer here.

The RTC looks to be ok still, he's just resting but still no sign of eating. He does look shocking as the pictures will show when i finally get them on here. Wish i'd been a bit more proactive with getting the 6x2x2 here and set up now.

o and do yoy have the link for the folding of pond linners?
It took a bit of digging up, but here it is....not that you'll be able to see it properly until attachments come back!

Edit: Additional!: Just back from my cousin with the spare roofing, he no longer has any clear stuff, it's all corrugated metal. Arse. Having an emotional moment then a re-group on that plan.

If you go to a pond store or a place that sells koi they have the melafix in the concentrated for that makes it much more practical. You have to watch the dosing because it is way different than the aquarium stuff.
Cheers that's a good idea. I keep thinking 'tank', but 'pond' suppliers really is a much better bet. Got a decent place not far away, will have to see them next time i'm out.

you're a busy bloke mate, cant wait to see the pics when you get it sorted. im just counting the days 'til i can order the epoxy and get things moving again. Is swallows in e.harling close to you? I worked at the colchester one for several years back in the day and did a couple of weeks at harling once, working with Dylan, is he still there?
