The mysterious leak's put in another appearance. No sign of it now though. I hate that leak so much.
As mysteriously as it started, it's not there this morning! Gonna have to come up with something drastic, my dad was round yesterday and saw it and came up with a plan for isolating where it is if (when!) it happens again with silicone grease so watch this space!spwd;4112998; said:

If it was a constant leak then i wouldn't mind it so much, easier to cope with and locate. Damn thing stopped as soon as it was all soaked up.
No more progress on the lid anyway so nothing to report there.
might be a small leak next to the wood. it only leaks when the wood is dry enough to shrink to let it leak then when its wet enough it swells closed.....? maybe??????Satan's Goldfish;4118156; said:

I think i'm having heat expansion and contraction issues with the silicone seal between the glass and the frame as i've just got in to find the left hand window has been leaking quite badly while i was out but has now stopped and dried up. This isn't good.
I'm going to have to take out what fish i can and drop the level down to below the windows for the rest of them to stay in and take the windows and frames out (somehow.) Then using the sticky black liner sealant fix the glass straight onto the liner. I'm not as calm as it seems right now. Getting the glass out isn't easy and i need my tank here and set up but no time for that until next week. Pond is already emptying. Lid work on hold. Paddling pool can't go back up unless i take the pond completely down as i don't have space, and the 6x2x2 isn't going to be good for the pacu for long so i'll need to do it quick unless i can get an lfs to hold them (unlikely!) The water level below the window will be fine for catfish aro and bass for a while but not the pacu. Big big issues
