I think it's a testament to the adaptability and distribution of the White Sucker (Catostomus commersonni) that I use them during the summer to feed my Redfin Pickerel, all the way over here in CT.

Are there any smaller types of that kind of fish?
some sources say they need 300gs, whereas others say 2000gs.

so when you move them to that massive tank, are you going to fish them out with hook and reel, or just jump on top of them?!
 
wow, looking good necro. so, the RTC is deffinatley starting to get his mature reds, looking good i might add. good luck with big boy and the big tank

I usually use a koi sock net, but the big boy will be too big for it to use it safely this next time. It's a 40" long net, but it's only 11" wide. made for show koi, but works great on medium sized catfish. Now though I am going to use a large pillow case! usually have to climb in the tank and wrestle him into a net.
