Some iPhone action. Shot movie of the big guy...

A better look at the vegetation growing out of the top of the tank...

Inflorescence of the Peace Lilly. It blooms pretty much non-stop...

A bromeliad, Tillandsia capitata, which is potted and sits on one of the grates over the water....

The epiphytic plants just thrive under the halide lights and with the constant humidity from being over the water. This is Moth Orchid (Phaelanopsis) which my wife bought for me Valentine's day, last year. It was in bloom a year ago and now is sending up this new spike, one year later. Cannot wait for the buds to open. You might also spot a small Tillandsia ionantha bromeliad that lives in its pot, too...

Submerged roots of the Pothos and the Peace Lillies...

A bunch of my wife's work colleagues are in town for the week, working from our house. Everyone wanted to see the puffer eat, so they took turns....

I don't know how I missed this thread. This is my absolute dream fish. By far the best Mbu I've seen on the internet, or anywhere else. You've done a fantastic job. I'll be getting one myself the day I get a 300+ gallon tank. I've read that some are vicious killers, yours seems to completely leave the other fish alone. Do you think this is just the personality of the fish, or because it grew up with fish it's whole life and never viewed them as food?
