I have one at about 10". I suspect though this is theory at the moment that they do not get as large as Micropeltes.

I am trying at the moment to source a very young specimin.

those pics posted in the first post are NOT diplos.
they are all micro.
young diplo have a different looking stripe gong thought the body.
and are more gold not red.

that's a bit lighting dependent.... diplo unlike mico seem to have red not only in the stripe but also fading out the other side of the black outlines of the main stripe.... and sometimes some dark blotches a long there backs by dorsal... just form what ive found search the last few days.....

then youre telling me that there couldve been like 20 diplos in the batch of micros that the lfs has that are actually feeders?
