Channa marulioides?Channa marulius?

Nice Ornate, but I would remove that gravel ASAP before it kills it.

Also, the Marulioides looks like it could do with a bigger tank. This could be what is stunting it from growing.
 
what contained in the gravel that will kill the fish?
and if the channa stunted, will it be in that size forever?
 
gravel is dangerous for Polypterus.
They are renowned for swallowing it whilst foraging for food.
It then gets compacted in their stomach, they can't pass it.

so if we still wanna use gravel as decoration for the tank, we should use the bigger one, right?:)

errr..can i mix bichir with channa?(both of them are babies)

The tank not big enough for my channa?I thought it very suitablefor it....
