Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just an update; after a week the clippings that I stuck in my 55 are now starting to root out. Are these pothos? I found these in the boonies, big and lots of 'em! Sorry 'bout the question...these are the first plants I laid my hands on. I'm not really into plants but this thread got me going and I'm beginning to enjoy it.

Haha yea, either way I would have compensated with wc for high n03 but now the pothos do half the work, so more like happy ME! ;)

It's ivy, although it doesn't appear to be golden pothos its extremely similar! Most ivy is a very hearty plant, so I'm sure it will work! good find!

ill be trying this soon maybe tomorrow thanks man :)

^ I like the idea, but the leaves that are fully submerged are going to die without being above the surface. If you could raise the driftwood up a bit so the leaves are exposed then it might work for you.

Ok. I asked n someone said the leaves would eventually grow above the water. Guess I was misinformed.
